Applications are now open!
Please follow the link to the application below. The application includes some questions and short statements explaining your:
Experience in cognitive, systems and/or computational neuroscience (max 100 words)
Experience in applied mathematics, statistics and/or machine learning (max 100 words)
List of your most relevant publications (max 3). Having published relevant articles is NOT a requirement, especially for early PhD students and scientists coming from other disciplines.
Personal motivation (including your research interests, max 250 words)
Sketch of a current or future project for which you plan to apply the skills learned during the school to your own research (short description of the data, any preliminary analyses/results, and how/which kind of behavioral modeling would help you answer open questions in your project) (max 250 words)
A short programming assessment (which should not take you more than 15 minutes), in either Python or Matlab, to make sure you have the minimal coding skills to be able to benefit from the tutorial sessions.
Application deadline is the 16th of February 2024 (included, from whichever timezone you are in).
A maximum of 30 trainees will be accepted. We particularly encourage applications from scientists from underrepresented groups and countries. Applications will be reviewed within two weeks after the deadline.
